Marbling with nail polish on canvas. Remove the tape and voilĂ it s that easy. Any nail polish is good i choose the cheap ones. Slowly drizzle ribbons of nail polish onto the surface of the water. Wait 10 mins for the nail polish to try and then pat the water droplets with a paper towel.
Once the nail polish is in the water you have a short window of time before the polish sets. The nail polish will be stuck on the face of the box. Use the stirring stick to collect the rest of the nail polish and to clean up the water for the next color. Using one color at a time pour some polish into the water at different spots across the surface.
Depending on how old the nail polish and what kind you are using the polish may float spread or sink. We used three colors for each marbling. Make sure you have the watercolor paper ready to go.
